These are a series of sketches of a fictional race that is included in the story I have been working on for a couple of years (note, not the children's book :) ), showing various facial angles.

I've tried to keep the facial features consistant through the different angles :x

Their species is called the Ayut Skarrog, and they are a sort of sentient, bipedal lizard with fur that reaches down their backs and across the shoulders. I wanted a somewhat dinosaur-ish look for these characters, but with a slight hint of dragon. I'll draw a full-body image at some point, but for now I'm just glad I've nailed this design (or so I think :3 ).
